For more than 20 years, I’ve been immersed in the world of crafting websites and web applications. I’ve witnessed the evolution of technology firsthand – from the era of HTML tables, font tags, and Perl, to navigating through ActionScript, Flash, and PHP, and finally embracing the shift to CSS, Javascript, and HTML5, and the multitude of frameworks that define today’s landscape. I find joy in embracing change, always placing accessibility and user-friendly experiences at the forefront of my work.
Below is my relevant experience as a senior level web designer and developer. Prior to this experience I was a web designer for U-Haul and Intel, and a Flash developer for Cisco Systems.
I am currently exploring work opportunities for 2024, whether full-time or as an independent contractor. If you’d like to work with me, please reach out.
Codingscape
Senior Software Engineer
After 7 years of running a small software consultancy, I decided I had had enough of the grind of constantly looking for new business. Marketing and sales were not my strengths. I weighed my options and decided that Codingscape was the best fit for someone with my experience and goals, to work closely with some of the best clients in the world and to continue to make custom software. It was a nice change to be focused solely on execution again.

- Senior software engineer embedded with a global 3d game/building platform
- Senior software engineer for a popular brand advocacy eCommerce product
Bonkey
Co-founder, Technical Director (Frontend)
In 2017, after a three-month motorcycle trip traversing the United States, I decided to start a small consultancy with my close friend, Dirk Heniges. In Bonkey’s first year we doubled in size (4!) and have focused on building accessible, modern web applications. We plan to stay small, profitable, and fun to work with.
