User Experience Design & Development

BonkeyBong

Co-founder, Design Director

In 2017, after a three-month motorcycle trip traversing the United States, I decided to start a small consultancy with my close friend, Dirk Heniges. In BonkeyBong's first year we doubled in size (4!) and have focused on building accessible, modern web applications. We plan to stay small, profitable, and fun to work with.

Mindspace

Technical Director

I resurrected the technical team at Mindspace starting in 2013, helping take Mindspace from a traditional marketing agency with some web skills to an award-winning product and services company working with some of the best clients in the world.

Our team created a new platform for digital learning and content creation, Fathom, which is being used by hundreds of thousands of users at companies like Starbucks, FedEx, and Avnet today.

Berlin Cameron

Interactive Director

I was hired to create the Interactive Department at Berlin Cameron. It was my first taste of the agency world and working in New York. Here is where I began to manage teams of designers, developers, and producers to create interactive projects and banner campaigns for a great variety of clients.

HomeFront Communications

Sr. Front-end Developer

As the front-end development lead at HomeFront I was able to work on large-scale websites for many an organization in DC. I helped standardize development practices, be the liaison between design and technology teams, and hone my front-end skills at what was then the beginning of the move towards Javascript and Web Standards from Flash.
